Scorechain for address risk scoring

Scorechain offers a tool for risk scoring that aims to address the potential risk associated with blockchain addresses with transactions.

ℹ️Address risk scoring via Scorechain is included in the latest server release, Iridescent Ishtar v10.

Setting up and accessing Scorechain

Scorechain does not have a way to directly signup on their website, operators will need to reach out through the 'Book a Demo' option to get set up with an account.

Creating an API Key

Once your account is activated and fully set up, all there's left to do is to add an API Key and respective Score Threshold to your Lamassu Admin.

From your Scorechain account, click your account on the top right corner of the home page, and then click on 'API Keys'.

Generate a new API Key, set its name and date as per your own preference, and hit 'Generate key'.

This will then present your API Key which you'll need for the Admin.

⚠️ ‏‏‎ ‎NOTE: This key will only show up once for security purposes. Make sure to save it in a secure place if you're not adding it to the admin immediately after.

Configuring the Admin

Now that you have your API Key, you'll simply need to copy it to your Admin's 3rd Party Services section on the Scorechain field, set your desired Score threshold and hit the 'Enabled' checkbox.

• Settings > 3rd Party Services > Scorechain

ℹ️Score threshold represents the minimum score percentage that a transaction needs to have to be considered safe and thus proceed.

The example above means that transactions will need to have at least a 50% score to be considered a safe transaction.
