Promo codes

With Electric Enlil v7.5, you can generate multiple custom promotional codes to distribute to your loyal and new customers to discount your machines’ regular commissions. Advertise them where you see fit, and when the sale ends, disable them on the fly from your admin.

How promo codes are calculated

The promo code percentage is a discount off your existing commission rates.

For instance, if you charge 8% commissions, and a code is set for 50%, then you'll instead be charging 4% on transactions using the code.

Creating promo codes

With your machines and server updated to v7.5 or higher, in your admin's 'Compliance > Promo Codes' panel, click the 'Add Code' button.

Choose the 'Promo code name' and set the discount percentage in 'Define discount rate', then click the green 'Add code' button to save.

If you want to add more codes, you can click the 'Add new code' button as shown below.

Disabling promo codes

To remove any promo codes you don't want to offer anymore, click the trash icon of the code to delete.

Then, when the confirmation pop up opens, click the green 'Confirm' button.
