If you are presented with the BitGo error 'password error - ccm: tag doesn't match' during a cash-in transaction, then it is likely your BitGo wallet password may be set incorrectly for that coin. To resolve this, visit your admin panel and re-enter the correct password associated with that wallet, then scroll down and hit 'Submit':
After applying the correct password, test another cash-in transaction or test a transaction within your server's command-line using our lamassu-send-coins script.
If the error persists, you may need to reset your BitGo wallet's password.
Resetting your BitGo wallet's password
Before you begin, login to your BitGo account by visiting http://bitgo.com/login.
Step 1: Next find and select the desired BitGo wallet. Click on 'Settings' and scroll down to the 'Password' section.
Step 2: Enter your existing BitGo password and then type out a new password inside any word processor. Copy and paste the password into BitGo under the new password fields, then click 'Update'.
(BitGo will then tell you whether or not the change was successful. If successful, move onto Step 3)
Step 3: Open your admin panel and navigate to "Third Party Settings > BitGo", scroll down and paste in the password for the wallet you've changed, then scroll to the bottom of the page and hit 'Submit'.
Afterward, test another cash-in transaction or test a transaction directly from your server, using our lamassu-send-coins script.
