Your machine can connect to an exchange so that bitcoin is automatically purchased at market rates with each bill that's inserted. In this way, the price volatility of cryptocurrency is mitigated.
itBit trading is supported for Bitcoin and Ethereum on USD.
⚠️ NOTE: Support for itBit is available for machines running Crafty Chnemu v7.3 and higher. Please upgrade to the latest version first.
Signup
First, sign up for an itBit / Paxos account: https://standard.paxos.com/signup
Then, verify your account in order to deposit and withdraw funds. The verification process may take up to 5 days.
Requesting an API key
Once verified, you'll need to request an API key from itBit: https://www.itbit.com/api
After requesting the API Key, you'll need to wait for contact from itBit's API services.
itBit's API services will request either a PGP key or a password in order to send you the file with the User ID, Client key, and Client secret.
Gathering your WalletID
After you've received your API key, you'll need to find your Wallet ID within the itBit panel; specifically found under the itBit Deposit menu for fiat currencies, it'll be the field labeled: 'ITBIT WALLET DEPOSIT ID'.
Configuring in your admin
Once you've gathered the necessary credentials, navigate to 'Settings > 3rd party services > itBit', click the pencil icon to edit, and then input the User ID, Wallet ID, Client key, and Client secret, then click Save changes:
Then navigate to the 'Settings > Wallet' panel. Select itBit from both the Exchange and Ticker drop-down lists under the tab, then click Save.
Testing
Test trades by placing purchases at the machine and ensure fiat is converted into the relevant cryptocurrency in your itBit account balance.
