Announcement and summary | Release notes
NOTE: With new releases, both the server and machine must be updated. Once the machine has been updated, you should follow it shortly thereafter by running the server update command.
Upgrading the machine
To begin with the machine update, please contact support with the output of this command from your server (please copy and paste rather than screenshot):
lamassu-devices
This tells us how to find your machine for a remote update. We will look for your machine online, perform the update, and confirm with you that it's completed.
Also, let us know an optimal time-frame for the update to take place (e.g., after 19:00 CET on weekdays).
No intervention will be needed at the machine, though testing is recommended after updating its server and enabling new features.
Upgrading the server
After your machines have been updated, run the following command within your server to update it as well:
curl -sS https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lamassu/lamassu-install/defiant-dingirma/upgrade | bash
If all is successful, you'll see the output 'Update complete!'
