Bitcoin Cash will undergo a protocol upgrade on 15 November 2018.
In order to dispense or accept BCH at your machine, you must be running the latest Bitcoin ABC wallet version before 15 November.
If you do not update before the new rules go into effect, cash-in and cash-out transactions will fail and may result in missent funds.
As always, it is important to back up your wallet, especially before making changes to wallet software.
Checking your version
You may check your current wallet version with:
If it is not Bitcoin ABC v0.18.2, you must update the Bitcoin Cash wallet.
Updating Bitcoin Cash
To update, run the script below:
curl -sS https://raw.githubusercontent.com/naconner/lamascripts/master/updates/nodes/bch.sh | bash
If successful, it will output 'Bitcoin Cash is updated.'
Afterwards, verify that the earlier version command now outputs v0.18.2.
Additionally, check that the Funding panel in your admin displays your current balance.

Note on Bitcoin Cash and contentious upgrades
Recent events suggest that the planned hard fork upgrade to Bitcoin Cash could be contentious, and it's possible that other Bitcoin Cash wallet clients will have protocol-level changes incompatible with those of Bitcoin ABC, which is the BCH wallet currently installed by default.
In that case, Bitcoin Cash could split into two separate coins, or a wallet other than Bitcoin ABC could become dominant.
We'll be watching the space and advising operators in the event that the protocol upgrade runs a different course.
Our software remains open source and operators have the ability to run a different wallet implementation of their choosing.
