Bitnik Reload is a third-party service that links your Bitcoin and Dash wallet to any of over a dozen exchanges, triggering re-purchases to avoid volatility. It is used as an alternative to our existing exchange modules and provides access to additional reporting options.
If you have a two-way machine, their optional Pro service will also auto-sell any amount received by your linked wallet.
Supported exchanges
CEX.io, Bitfinex, ANX, Hitbtc, Loyalbit, OkCoin, BleuTrade, Quoine, BitVc, BTCTrade, Cointrader, Coinbase, BTCMarkets, Bitso, Poloniex, Gatecoin, and more.
Setup
To begin, please create BitGo wallets and configure them within your admin.
Then, under the Wallet Settings page of your admin, set the 'Exchange' value to 'No exchange' for BTC and DASH.
The Reload website will walk you through the rest of the setup process: https://reload.bitnik.eu/
In short:
- Create a Bitnik Reload account with email and password
- Log into BitGo via Bitnik Reload's popup window
- Insert your desired exchange's API credentials
- Enable new Reload
- Choose if you only want 'reload' (cash-in) or also 'unload' (cash-out) auto-trading.
Please note: Reload will suggest minimum permissions for your exchange's API credentials. They will not need withdrawal permissions, so for the security of your exchange account and its coins, do not enable withdrawal permissions. The responsibility of safeguarding your exchange credentials is yours.
Functionality
Reload will use a BitGo API key to monitor your wallet's outgoing transactions and trigger a rebuy for each Bitcoin or Dash sale on your machine. After the order has been filled Reload will report cost and price (including exchange fee) per transaction.
As with other exchange modules, you will still need to periodically shuffle the re-purchased coins from your exchange account to refill your machine's hot wallet.
Reach out to Bitnik for details on handling wallet transactions and deposits that should be ignored by Reload.
